IAM Specialist | Mission-Critical Law Enforcement Transformation - 12 months
Protect the frontline. Secure the data. Power the transition. UK law enforcement is undergoing a landmark digital transformation, replacing its core Records Management System (RMS). We are looking for a high-caliber Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to lead the charge in securing the digital identities of those who keep the public safe.
This isn’t just about managing logins; it’s about architecting a secure, frictionless ecosystem where the right officers have the right access at the exact moment they need it. You will be the bridge between complex legacy environments and a modern, automated future.
Responsibilities
- Architect the Lifecycle: Take ownership of the "Joiners, Movers, Leavers" journey, ensuring identity transitions are automated, secure, and lightning-fast.
- Master the Stack: Act as the technical authority for SailPoint configurations, orchestrating seamless integrations across Entra ID, Active Directory, and the National Identity and Access Management (NIAM) platform.
- Enforce Zero Trust: Design and deploy sophisticated Role-Based and Attribute-Based Access Controls (RBAC/ABAC) to uphold the principle of least privilege.
- Bridge the Gap: Translate complex operational requirements into elegant technical designs and robust documentation that will serve as the blueprint for years to come.
- Drive Delivery: From initial design to high-stakes go-live, ensure systems are compliant, audited, and resilient.
Your Technical Arsenal
The Essentials: You are a SailPoint expert. This is non-negotiable – you know the workflows, the integrations, and the common pitfalls.
Cloud and Core: Deep, hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory is part of your DNA.
Governance Mindset: You understand Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and how to build for auditability and compliance.
Proven Delivery: You have a track record of navigating large-scale enterprise IAM migrations without breaking a sweat.
Desirable
- You’ve previously navigated the unique challenges of UK Policing or the Secure Public Sector.
- Familiarity with National Identity and Access Management (NIAM) standards.
