Our public sector client is looking for a 1st Line Support Engineer to help with a build and deployment project as they upgrade to Windows 11. You will be responsible for updating user kits, including laptops, desktops and phones.
The role
- To provide the machines to users, and supporting them during the Build process while on-site.
- Refreshing existing Mobile Devices
- Cary out Initial investigation and implementation of first-time fixes
- To provides IT support cooperate users and stores across the estate.
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop and laptop/mobile devices
- To support the deployment migrations daily within a fixed SLA
Requirements
- An understanding of how to troubleshoot IT issues following design documentation or process charts through to resolution
- Ability to provide primary technical support to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to hardware, software and peripherals
- Experience working on Windows 11 upgrade projects
- Knowledge and understanding of the Office 365 Admin Console
- Knowledge and understanding of hardware, software and infrastructure.
