Talent-UK are currently recruiting for an experienced manufacturing Operative on a permanent basis for our client that is based in Huddersfield. Our client is a successful privately owned engineering business in the Huddersfield area, working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with a starting salary of £29K, state of the art factory, along with excellent career opportunities.

Duties of the Manufacturing Operative:

  • Operating a broad range of equipment
  • Loading and unloading of products onto jigs
  • Shot blasting of products & other processes
  • Inspection of products prior to packing

Experience of the Manufacturing Operative:

  • Experience of working in a manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Operation of large machine tools
  • Working to strict deadlines and high-quality standards
  • Ability to work as part of a small team

Working hours for the Manufacturing Operative:

  • The role operates on a 24/7 continental shift system
  • 4 x 12 hour day shifts 7am to 7pm, followed by 4 days off
  • 4 x 12 hour night shifts 7pm to 7am, followed by 4 days off

Starting salary of £29k (rising with training). Overtime available. 31 days holiday (including bank holidays). Company pension scheme. Excellent working environment. Free on site parking. We are an equal opportunities employer.
