In this role, you’ll be instrumental in enhancing the resilience of critical systems, protecting sensitive data, and supporting the operational success of key defence initiatives. As a Gateways Designer, you’ll be responsible for creating and implementing secure gateway solutions tailored for defence operations. This includes managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, from concept and design to troubleshooting and operational acceptance. You’ll ensure a smooth transition to service while maintaining robust documentation and adhering to governance requirements. Engaging with stakeholders, you’ll also assess vulnerabilities and provide mitigation strategies in highly secure environments. Essential skills: Hands-on experience with web and email gateways (Desired Forcepoint experience) Understanding of additional gateway solutions, including next-generation firewalls (NGFWs). Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving configuration and integration issues. Proven experience in managing projects, tracking milestones, and delivering outcomes. Familiarity with Active Directory (AD) and virtualisation technologies.
