We’re looking for a FinOps Analyst focused on cloud cost transparency, consumption analysis and financial insight across a large Azure estate. This role is analysis-led rather than engineering-led. You’ll work with Finance, DevOps and Cloud teams to turn Azure usage data into clear, actionable cost and optimisation insights.
What you’ll be doing:
- Analyse Azure cloud cost and usage data across multiple services and teams
- Identify cost drivers, anomalies and efficiency opportunities
- Support cloud cost forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
- Develop and improve chargeback / showback models
- Translate Azure consumption into clear financial and business impact
- Produce reports and insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Work closely with Finance, DevOps and Cloud teams within the CCoE
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a FinOps Analyst / Cloud Cost Analyst role
- Strong understanding of FinOps principles and cloud pricing models
- Hands‑on experience with Azure (consumption, services, billing)
- Advanced skills in Excel, SQL and Python
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and commercial audiences
Nice to have:
- 3–5 years FinOps experience
- PowerBI / Tableau or similar reporting tools
- Strong presentation and stakeholder-facing experience
