6-month contract | Inside IR35 | Fully remote (UK preferred)

We’re looking for a FinOps Analyst focused on cloud cost transparency, consumption analysis and financial insight across a large Azure estate. This role is analysis-led rather than engineering-led. You’ll work with Finance, DevOps and Cloud teams to turn Azure usage data into clear, actionable cost and optimisation insights.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyse Azure cloud cost and usage data across multiple services and teams
  • Identify cost drivers, anomalies and efficiency opportunities
  • Support cloud cost forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
  • Develop and improve chargeback / showback models
  • Translate Azure consumption into clear financial and business impact
  • Produce reports and insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Work closely with Finance, DevOps and Cloud teams within the CCoE

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a FinOps Analyst / Cloud Cost Analyst role
  • Strong understanding of FinOps principles and cloud pricing models
  • Hands‑on experience with Azure (consumption, services, billing)
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL and Python
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and commercial audiences

Nice to have:

  • 3–5 years FinOps experience
  • PowerBI / Tableau or similar reporting tools
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder-facing experience
