DevSecOps Engineer
Our public sector client is looking for an experienced and SC Cleared DevSecOps Engineer to join them and work on a crucial project where they are upgrading and enhancing a reporting tool.
Technical Experience
- Experienced in Azure – specifically PaaS and IaaS, in particular experience in IaaS to PaaS migration and refactor.
- Experienced in both Windows & Linux OS.
- Experienced in Networking, Applications, Databases, Integration/API's, Infrastructure, Software Development.
- Background in software development is advantageous, particularly .NET
- Experienced in SQL & Postgres
- Experienced in DevOps, comfortable using Azure Dev Ops and writing yaml pipelines
- Experienced in containerisation – Docker (Kubernetes*)
- Experienced in IaC – primarily/minimum of ARM (Bicep), Terraform advantageous
- Scripting skills – powershell, Bash
- Experienced in source control – GitHub
- Experienced using JIRA & Confluence
- Experience of virtualisation advantageous
We are looking for someone who is:
- A self starter, able to work with minimal supervision and direction.
- Analytical and inquisitive, focus on attention to detail – able to assess, formulate and mobilise a plan. Capability to highlight areas of improvement and put forward suggestions/plans to facilitate.
- Ability to work across multiple pieces of work/projects concurrently and context switch at short notice when priorities/delivery dates dictate.
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements or issues into simple layman's terminology for key stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
