Senior Data Migration Lead – 6 Month contract (Inside IR3). Central London - Hybrid working – 2 days per week onsite. Core banking.

We are currently supporting one of our banking clients who require a Senior Data Migration Lead to work on a complex digital transformation.

Responsibilities
  • Clearly define, present, and own the end-to-end data migration strategy, associated migration plans, and execution approaches for the T24-to-Data Hub and CRM transitions.
  • Direct, mentor, and work alongside a dedicated, next-level-down execution team to ensure delivery milestones are met on time and within scope.
  • Implement robust data migration protocols, ensuring absolute data integrity and strict regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the mapping and movement of data from core banking databases into modern data lakes and financial data hubs.
  • Confidently present migration frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and progress reports to C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
Experience Required
  • A thorough understanding of banking data structures, regulatory requirements, and financial compliance standards.
  • Direct experience working with Temenos T24 core banking databases.
  • Hands on experience managing complex CRM data migrations within a financial services context.
  • Extensive experience leveraging Databricks for large-scale data processing, transformation, and migration.
  • Deep familiarity with modern data lake architectures specifically Snowflake.
  • Advanced understanding of data migration protocols, ETL pipelines, and relevant data engineering libraries.
