Location: Corsham (4 days/week on-site) | Duration: 12 Months | Rate: Up to £550/day (Inside IR35)

The Role

We are seeking a robust DV cleared Project Manager for a secure Central Government department. You will lead day-to-day project delivery, driving end-to-end governance, stakeholder management, and benefits realisation to deliver complex outcomes on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project delivery from initiation to completion, managing day-to-day controls and budgets.
  • Coordinate Business Case development (OBC/FBC) and track performance milestones.
  • Manage risks, issues (RAID), and complex change control processes.
  • Build relationships across a large, varied internal and external stakeholder landscape.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of all-around Project Management experience handling complex delivery.
  • Skills: Strong RAID management, data analysis, and high-quality reporting capabilities.
  • Commercial: Experience with Business Cases (OBC/FBC); writing review notes is highly beneficial.
  • Qualifications: In-date entry-level qualification required (e.g., APM PFQ, MSP Foundation, or equivalent).
  • Security & Nationality: Due to project sensitivity, candidates must be UK Sole Nationals with no connections to Tier 1 or Tier 2 countries, and be able to hold STRAP status.

  • Interviews: 1-stage MS Teams interview focusing on core behaviours (Leadership, Decisions, Pace, Communication) and technical PM skills.
  • Umbrella Policy: Engagement is restricted ONLY to AMS Approved Umbrella Companies.
