We’re currently supporting a major programme within a highly secure government environment and are looking for an experienced SOC Analyst to join a fast paced cyber security operations team. This is a fully onsite role based in Corsham, working a shift pattern covering days, nights and weekends within a 24/7 operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring and triaging security events and incidents
- Investigating and responding to cyber threats in real time
- Supporting incident management from detection through to resolution
- Working with SIEM technologies within an enterprise SOC environment
- Creating and improving use cases, analytics and playbooks
- Supporting continuous improvement across cyber operations
Requirements
- Proven experience operating within a Tier 2 or Tier 3 SOC environment
- Strong hands on SIEM experience, ideally including configuration and engineering
- Experience responding to and managing security incidents
- Understanding of cloud technologies
- Industry recognised cyber security certifications such as SANS or ISC2
Desirable
- Previous experience within defence or secure government environments
- Experience mentoring or leading analysts
- Technical or computing related degree

- Contract running until April 2027 with potential extension
- Shift rotation averaging 37 hours per week
- Fully onsite in Corsham
- Candidates must be eligible to work within highly secure UK environments
