This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with multiple stakeholders, and has a track record of managing high-volume contractor programmes.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of the account, ensuring seamless contractor care while strategically growing and developing the partnership. You’ll act as the key point of contact for both the client and contractors, building trust and ensuring expectations are consistently exceeded.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing 100+ contractors across the account, ensuring engagement and retention.
  • Leading the end-to-end onboarding process – from candidate offer to induction.
  • Overseeing payroll and compliance, ensuring all contractors are supported effectively.
  • Conducting contractor reviews to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Delivering timely and accurate reporting on account performance.
  • Ensuring SLA management and delivering on agreed service levels.
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Driving account development by identifying opportunities for growth and service improvement.
  • Acting as a strategic partner to the client, continuously looking for ways to add value.

About You

We are looking for an Account Manager who is confident, professional, and able to work effectively in a client-facing role. You’ll have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, while keeping both client and contractor satisfaction at the heart of everything you do.

To succeed, you should have:

  • Proven experience in account management – ideally within recruitment, contractor care, or a people-focused service environment.
  • A background in contractor care or workforce management, with the ability to handle large volumes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at senior levels.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset, with a focus on adding long-term value to the account.

What’s on Offer?

We offer a salary between £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience, the opportunity to manage one of our flagship healthcare accounts with significant exposure, a hybrid working model with 3 days per week onsite in Surrey, and the chance to work in a supportive environment that values account development, innovation, and service excellence. This is more than just account management – it’s a chance to take ownership of a high-profile client relationship where your expertise and commitment will make a measurable impact.
