We are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an experienced and highly professional Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to a Senior Vice President. Our client is keen to welcome the right person as soon as possible, so we're looking for candidates who are available to start at short notice and can join the business quickly. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, keeping things running seamlessly and making a genuine impact.
The Role
- Providing comprehensive Executive Assistant support to a Senior Vice President.
- Managing a busy and ever-changing diary, ensuring priorities are balanced effectively.
- Coordinating complex UK and international travel, meetings and logistics.
- Acting as a trusted point of contact, confidently managing emails, calls and requests on behalf of the executive.
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business and externally.
- Preparing high-quality presentations, board packs and PowerPoint decks.
- Organising meetings, preparing agendas, collating papers and taking minutes where required.
- Handling highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Liaising with teams across the organisation to ensure actions are completed and deadlines are met.
- Processing purchase orders, invoices and contracts.
- Supporting visitor management and onboarding new team members.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
- Providing support and guidance to colleagues when needed.
About You
You'll be an experienced Executive Assistant who is confident supporting senior leaders within a fast-paced environment. You'll naturally stay one step ahead, anticipate what's needed and enjoy finding solutions. You're highly organised, calm under pressure and able to balance multiple priorities without compromising on quality. You'll also enjoy creating professional presentations and be happy to get involved in a variety of projects beyond the traditional EA responsibilities.
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience supporting senior executives, ideally at Senior Vice President or Director level.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The confidence to build relationships with people at all levels.
- A proactive, flexible and positive approach.
- The ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- At least five years' experience in an Executive Assistant role or a similar position.
