We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Person for our client who is a well-known engineering business in the Huddersfield area on a permanent basis, working Monday to Friday with a salary of £28,000.00, excellent working conditions and ongoing training and progression opportunities.
Responsibilities of the Stores Person:
- Dealing with goods inwards/outwards, stock control, and inventory management
- Conducting stock takes and working with stock control systems would be a distinct advantage.
- Maintain accurate stock records using the company's inventory or CMMS system.
- Issue parts and materials to engineers as required.
- Liaise with engineering teams, purchasing, and suppliers regarding parts availability.
- Support continuous improvement of stores processes and inventory control.
Experience of the Stores Person:
- Experience of working in a fast-paced engineering stores environment
- Computer literate - use of in-house systems
- In date FLT Licence (Counterbalance)
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
