Talent-UK are currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Operative on a permanent basis for their client who are a successful privately owned engineering business in the Huddersfield area, working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with a starting salary of £29K, state of the art factory, along with excellent career opportunities.
Duties of the Manufacturing Operative:
- Operating a broad range of equipment
- Loading and unloading of products onto jigs
- Shot blasting of products & other processes
- Inspection of products prior to packing
Experience of the Manufacturing Operative:
- Experience of working in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- Operation of large machine tools
- Working to strict deadlines and high-quality standards
- Ability to work as part of a small team
Working hours for the Manufacturing Operative:
The role operates on a 24/7 continental shift system: 4 x 12 hour day shifts 7am to 7pm, followed by 4 days off, followed by 4 x 12 hour night shifts 7pm to 7am, followed by 4 days off.
