Talent-UK are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative on a temporary basis in for a growing manufacturing business in the Skelmanthorpe area.
Responsibilities of the Assembly Operative:
- Fitting components using different types of cables and connectors
- Wiring loom boards
- Working with cables such as cutting, crimping and stripping
- Work on panels and metal assemblies
- Follow drawings/instructions either written or computer generated
- Follow work schedules
Preferred Skills / Experience of the Assembly Operative:
- Able to maintain focus while completing repetitive tasks
- Requires endurance to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
- Good hand and eye coordination
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Experience in manufacturing, production or assembly work would be beneficial
- Basic computer literacy, helpful but not essential
