Talent-UK are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative on a temporary basis in for a growing manufacturing business in the Skelmanthorpe area.

Responsibilities of the Assembly Operative:

  • Fitting components using different types of cables and connectors
  • Wiring loom boards
  • Working with cables such as cutting, crimping and stripping
  • Work on panels and metal assemblies
  • Follow drawings/instructions either written or computer generated
  • Follow work schedules

Preferred Skills / Experience of the Assembly Operative:

  • Able to maintain focus while completing repetitive tasks
  • Requires endurance to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
  • Good hand and eye coordination
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Experience in manufacturing, production or assembly work would be beneficial
  • Basic computer literacy, helpful but not essential

  • Working hours 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday
