Talent-UK are recruiting a Sewing Machinist on behalf of their client, a successful manufacturer based in the Halifax area. The role is offered on a permanent basis working days with an early finish on Friday.
The Sewing Machinist will be working as part of a team, reporting to the Supervisor and responsible for sewing various products and ensuring production targets and deadlines are met.
Duties of the Sewing Machinist:
- Operation of Overlocking, Flatbed & twin Needle machines
- Working as part of a team and managing own workload
- Reporting directly to the Sewing Supervisor
Skills and experience of the Sewing Machinist:
- Must have worked with Overlocking, Flatbed & twin needle machines
- Must come from a sewing background
- Ability to problem solve and work to tight deadlines
Benefits for the Sewing Supervisor:
- Paying £12.50 per hour
- Working 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-12.30pm Friday
- Overtime available
- Holiday Entitlement: 28 Days including public holidays
- Permanent opportunity
