The predicted salary is between 32400 - 39600 £ per year.

Location: Normanton

Hours: 39.5 hrs per week (Early Friday finish at 1:30pm)

Salary negotiable for different levels of experience

Overtime: Time-and-a-half (typically 6am–8am and Saturday mornings), paid the following month

Holidays: 21 days + bank holidays, full Christmas shutdown

About the Role

We are seeking a Panel Wirer to join our team, contributing to the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced wiremen and those looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lay out and assemble electrical components according to schematic drawings
  • Build backplates, wire panels, and assemble doors to complete panel builds
  • Use a PARTEX numbering system to correctly identify wiring
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete job-box tasks within set timeframes
  • Ensure panels are ready for onsite testing
  • Follow all company Health & Safety policies, maintaining safe work practices and good housekeeping
  • If you hold an ECS card, occasional site work may be required

Experience Levels

  • Inexperienced applicants: You will initially support the team by panel wrapping, assisting with loading/unloading vans, using hand tools, drilling, learning jigging, and maintaining excellent housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Experienced applicants: You should be confident in panel wiring, reading schematics, working independently, and completing full assembly tasks.
