An established and respected manufacturing business in Doncaster is looking to recruit an experienced Paint Sprayer to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a successful company that values quality, safety, and craftsmanship.

The Role

As a Paint Sprayer, you'll be responsible for preparing and spraying trailer chassis and components to a high standard, ensuring every product meets strict quality and durability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming.
  • Applying 2K primers, topcoats, and lacquers using air-assisted spray equipment.
  • Carrying out quality inspections, including wet and dry film thickness (WFT/DFT) checks.
  • Completing touch-ups and ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Cleaning and maintaining spray guns, equipment, and spray booths.
  • Following all health & safety procedures, including COSHH regulations.
  • Working collaboratively within the production team to meet daily targets.

About You

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

  • At least 3 years' experience as a Paint Sprayer within manufacturing, commercial vehicles, trailers, or an automotive body shop.
  • Experience using 2K paint systems, air-assisted spray equipment, pressure pots, and suction-fed spray guns.
  • Excellent attention to detail with pride in producing a high-quality finish.
  • A strong understanding of health & safety and safe working practices.
  • A reliable and positive approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
