Our client is a well-established IT and Telecoms business who are looking for an experienced electrician to join their fast growing business. General details Position- Electrician Salary £39,500k plus Company Van Hours- Monday to Friday 08:00-15:45 Permanent Key responsibilities * Visit sites to survey work and materials, * followed by a survey write up (report) * Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems * Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.) * Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them , Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc. * Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units Installation, and commissioning of Access Control Systems, CCTV and Fire Alarm or related equipment. * Create site specific RAMS documentation * Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines The candidate: * 18th edition qualified electrician with at least NVQ Level 3 * 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification * Ability to manage own workload, to be thorough and pay attention to detail * Adaptability and flexibility * Loyal and enthusiastic Team player * Proactive with a desire to learn and develop new skills * Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate professionally with colleagues and customers Enhanced DBS check (to be performed following interview Desirable * Experience with commercial and industrial electrical installation * EV Charging ECS Approved Electrician Gold Card * PASMA Tower AM2E * IPAF Dual * CCNSG Safety Passport Benerfits * Excellent base salary * 25 days Holiday plus Bank Holidays & Birthday off * Pension * Uniform * Company Van * Plenty of overtime * On-going support This vacancy is advertised on behalf of Talent-UK Ltd who are operating as an employment agency/business, we are an equal opportunities employer, your application will be sent to us for review, at which stage we will be in touch to discuss your details further.
