We are working with a manufacturing business based in Doncaster, who are looking to recruit multiple skilled Electrical Fitters to join their growing production and engineering team in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity and we welcome applications from someone with electrical installation, wiring, and vehicle electrical systems experience to work in the vehicle conversion and manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Fitter:
  • Install and assemble electrical systems, wiring, harnesses, and electrical components within vehicles.
  • Carry out electrical installation and electrical assembly work to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and production teams to complete projects on time.
  • Conduct fault finding, testing, and basic troubleshooting where required.
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials, and electrical components used.
What we need from you for the Electrical Fitter role:
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Fitter, Electrical Technician, Auto Electrician, Electrical Assembler, or Wiring Technician.
  • Experience with vehicle electrics, electrical wiring, control systems, or electrical installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • A UK driving licence may be beneficial.
  • Experience within automotive, vehicle conversion, manufacturing, engineering, or commercial vehicle industries would be an advantage.
