Talent-UK are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist for a well-established sub-contracting engineering business in the Bradford area on a permanent basis, with an early finish on Fridays, along with ongoing training and development.

The CNC Machinist will:

  • Ideally hold formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, City & Guilds, NVQ or similar) - time served candidates will also be considered
  • Experience working as a CNC Miller/ CNC Turner, Programmer within a high precision manufacturing environment
  • Be capable of creating bespoke programmes from scratch directly from engineering drawings & samples
  • Ideally have experience working on XYZ machines and using Siemens or Prototrak controls

Working Hours of the CNC Machinist:

  • 40 Hours per week across 5-day shifts:
  • Monday - 07:30 to 16:00
  • Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - 07:30 to 16:30
  • Friday - 07:30 to 14:30

In return the CNC Machinist will receive:

  • Paying up to £20.00 per hour DOE
  • Regular mid-week overtime available paid at uplifted rates
  • Holiday Allowance: 31 Days per annum (23 + bank holidays)
  • Statutory company pension scheme

  • Ongoing training and progression

The company is easily commutable from surrounding towns & cities including Huddersfield, Keighley, Halifax, Leeds, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Cleckheaton, Pontefract and Castleford.
