Overview

Are you a charismatic SDR who builds rapport quickly over the phone, and thrives on generating leads, making calls, and opening up opportunities? Our client, the UK’s fastest‑growing event tech brand, is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn and other prospecting activities.
  • Identify, engage, and qualify new venue partners creating a strong pipeline of opportunities for BDMs to convert into customers.
  • Book qualified meetings for the Business Development Manager to drive deals forward.
  • Follow up on marketing‑generated leads and inbound opportunities.
  • Act as the first point of contact for potential clients, building strong relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience in cold‑calling and lead generation (essential).
  • A likeable, confident phone manner— with strong communication skills to engage potential customers and uncover their needs.
  • A willingness to learn about the events & hospitality industry and products, and how to pitch them.
  • A keen interest in sales, technology, and professional development.
  • A team player—you’ll work closely with other SDRs and your BDM.
