Overview: Business Development Manager – SaaS Sales for an award-winning Event Tech (SaaS) company. You will join a fast-growing team to grow market share across the UK. You'll be selling AI-powered SaaS products designed to help venues, hotels and event spaces secure more bookings, maximise conversions, and drive revenue growth. You'll be supported by an SDR and have access to tools to help prospect decision-makers.
This role will:
- Manage the full sales cycle from SDR-qualified introduction through to negotiation and contract close.
- Sell SaaS products that boost venue visibility, conversion and ROI, presenting tailored proposals that clearly demonstrate value.
- Partner closely with your SDR to align on prospecting strategy, outreach priorities and conversion goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with venue clients to drive upsells and long-term success.
- Share market insight back into the business to help shape product development and go-to-market strategy.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years closing experience in a new business sales role within SaaS or B2B sales.
- A strong character – confident in the room, comfortable challenging and negotiating with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and articulate ROI clearly.
- A commercially driven mindset with a track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets.
- A collaborative approach to working with SDRs and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced tech environment.
- Bonus: Experience selling within events, hospitality, venues, or lead-generation platforms would be a plus.
