We are seeking a proactive and versatile Marketing Operations & Engagement Manager to join our marketing team and provide essential support across our on and offline channels. You will own the social media strategy and execution for Spotlight and other Talent Systems Europe Brands, carrying out campaigns that promote brand awareness and consideration, drive audience growth and engagement, and educate and inspire our audience of performers and industry professionals.
In this dynamic position, you will also co-ordinate new product and feature launches, providing support to our other channel owners; Content, Digital Marketing, and CRM. You will be a key resource in the creation and development of marketing assets, collaborating with other teams in the business, co-ordinating our sprints and conducting detailed reporting. Additionally, you will take charge of special projects, contributing significantly to our marketing efforts.
With a comprehensive understanding of each marketing channel, your insight will be crucial for ensuring seamless channel integration within our campaigns. Your ability to step in and cover managerial responsibilities during their absence due to leave or illness will help maintain continuity and drive in our marketing operations. Your role is not just supportive but also pivotal, as it requires agility, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit to keep our multichannel marketing strategies cohesive and effective. You will be an integral member of the team, playing a central part in our continued success and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in digital marketing and communications equivalent to that gained over five years in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across the business, at all levels.
- Proven experience in managing social media campaigns using a variety of software and platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Analytics and Adobe Creative Suite).
- Hands-on experience in using social media management tools; we use Sprout Social.
- Creative skills in producing and editing video and graphic content for a variety of channels.
- Outgoing and willing to interface with unhappy customers on social media and appear on-camera in social videos.
- A good understanding of SEO, email marketing, and digital content creation.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and knowledge of segmentation, automation, and campaign management.
- Competency in basic HTML and familiarity with website publishing platforms such as WordPress and Umbraco for content updates and maintenance.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, generate insights, and report on performance across various marketing channels.
- Hard working, collaborative and with a balance of EQ and IQ.
- Experience of agile working.
- Adaptability and a problem-solving mindset, with the flexibility to step into different roles as needed and a willingness to learn and tackle new challenges.
- Flexible schedule desired in order to collaborate with the US team and provide occasional after hours social media support.
- Ambition and energetic, with a willingness to volunteer for tasks that stretch you as an individual and add value to our team.
