This is a hands-on role focused on building new client relationships and driving commercial growth through strategic outreach and consultative selling. Key Responsibilities Identify and convert new business opportunities across a range of scientific sectors Manage the full sales process from lead generation through to proposal, negotiation, and close Build strong, lasting relationships with scientific and commercial decision-makers Represent the business at relevant events and meetings to raise profile and generate leads Maintain a well-organised sales pipeline and provide insights on market trends and client needs Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction Candidate Profile Proven track record in business development or sales within life sciences, biotech services, or adjacent fields Able to engage confidently in science-based conversations with potential clients Comfortable working in a small, adaptable team and taking ownership of outcomes Familiar with CRM systems and data-driven sales processes Motivated by long-term relationship-building rather than short-term wins The Opportunity This role offers flexibility to grow into a more senior or strategic post over time, depending on your interests and performance.
