Talent STEM are assisting a leading healthcare and pharmaceutical services organisation in seeking an experienced Responsible Person (RP) to support and maintain compliance across regulated distribution activities within the UK and EU. This is a key appointment within the quality and compliance function, offering broad responsibility across GDP governance, operational support, and regulatory oversight within a highly regulated medicines distribution environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure ongoing compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements
- Maintain and develop the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Oversee supplier and customer approval processes
- Support product recalls, returns, and disposition decisions
- Review and approve temperature excursion investigations
- Conduct internal GDP audits and support external inspections
- Provide compliance guidance to operational stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement across regulated distribution processes
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external customers where required
Candidate profile:
- Experience operating within a GDP-regulated pharmaceutical or healthcare environment
- Ideally currently acting as a Responsible Person, Deputy RP, or senior GDP Quality professional
- Strong understanding of wholesale distribution requirements
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations and senior leadership
- Experience of audits, investigations, CAPA, and regulatory interaction
- Degree qualified or equivalent professional background
