An exciting opportunity has been created within this innovative team at a leading Healthcare charity HQ. The role involves a 35 hours per week commitment from August 2026 for a minimum of 6 months, with a likely need of 8-9 months (March/April 27).
Key responsibilities include:
- Project managing a new Service development unit within our healthcare information services.
- Setting up and supporting facilitation of innovation cycle planning, running sprint planning, retrospectives, standups, and other regular meetings.
- Managing the team budget along with the Unit Lead.
- Acting as part of the Unit team on innovative concept creation, prototyping, and testing.
- Logistics and payment support for our involvement group of people affected by cancer who test ideas and prototypes regularly for us.
- Leading the planning, development, and delivery of a review of some of our information video content.
- Working collaboratively with internal clinical teams, subject matter experts, designers, production and motion graphics teams, external experts, and people affected by cancer to review and replace out of date/old brand video content.
- Facilitating feedback and revisions with subject matter experts and creative teams, ensuring communication of changes is clear, structured, and actionable.
- Coordinating publication of content via the Social Media team (YouTube) and internal Content Management System (CMS).
- Leading a review of Patient Information team processes, including the organisation and storage of patient information documentation, and providing recommendations to enhance efficiency, consistency, and compliance.

Key Accountabilities:
- End-to-end project management of a variety of Fundraising Innovation projects.
- Work with Senior Innovation Managers to define and agree project vision, outcomes, milestones, decisions, and budgets.
- Facilitate day-to-day project activity, enabling effective collaboration, planning, and delivery across teams.
- Identify, manage, and monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and resource requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and engage stakeholders effectively, adapting approach to suit differing levels of seniority and influence.
- Manage escalations effectively, ensuring timely, evidence-based decisions that consider risks, costs, benefits, and delivery options.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking, including internal and external resources.
- Provide clear and accurate reporting on costs, benefits, risks, and delivery status.
Operations Management:
- Manage the day-to-day operational delivery of innovation activities across the portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with agreed portfolio, project, and operational frameworks, guidance, and templates.

- Strong experience in project and operational management, including delivery of multiple workstreams.
- Proven capability in matrix management and influencing without direct authority.
