This role is responsible for the picking, packing, supply and distribution of spare parts in accordance with company operating procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The post holder will contribute to the fast and efficient processing of orders and supplies by accurately carrying out all duties incumbent in the role.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Picks parts for various departments and customers against the company’s SLAs.
- Packs sales orders for distribution.
- Contributes to control of stock, identifying where levels are low and reporting to the Materials Manager and/or Inventory Coordinator.
- Carries out physical stock counts as required.
- Replenishes stock on receipt of supplies from Head office transferring stock to Kardex machines and reorganising stock locations within the machines where applicable to ensure improved productivity within the department.
- Builds and maintains positive working relationships and communication with internal customers.
- Works alongside the Inventory team to reconcile physical inventory to digital inventory.
- As part of a department rota, opens and closes Kardex machines at the beginning and end of the day, ensuring a presence in the department at all times.
- Identifies and communicates process improvements, bottlenecks and problems to the Inventory Coordinator and/or Materials Manager at the earliest opportunity.
- Actively participates in achieving the organisations vision, purpose and upholding company values.
The role is working from luxurious offices and is Monday - Friday 9am -5pm (all on office site).

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum GCSEs or equivalent at Grade 4 or above (previously A-C) in Maths and English.
- Picking, packing and supply experience.
- Comfortable with being on their feet all day.
- Team worker.
- Good command of the English language with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work quickly and accurately towards deadlines.
- Knowledge, experience and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent.
