Responsibilities
- Partner with existing customers to mobilise new customers and train their teams.
- Present the apetito proposition to key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with colleagues across business units to identify and pursue business development opportunities.
- Deliver proposals and secure new business wins in line with budget targets.
- Enhance the dining experience for patients, residents, and pupils.
- Share expertise in food and nutrition, helping customers manage their food budget.
- Identify opportunities for growth from within the customer base.
- Maintain a positive team environment while working effectively alone and in a team.
- Travel regionally as required, including occasional overnight stays (typically no more than one to two nights per week).
Qualifications and Personal Qualities
- Essential: Graduate (or graduating in 2024), preferably in a business‑related subject. Full driving licence; an enhanced CRB check will be required. Ability to work under tight timeframes, managing multiple projects.
- Desirable: Relevant work experience (placement year or work experience), geographical flexibility for two separate assignments across the UK, and experience in catering or sales.
- Personal qualities: Self‑motivated, organised, and a strong team player with excellent influencing, listening, and communication skills. High level of credibility and gravitas when interacting with senior management. Strong presentation skills and the ability to present confidently to audiences.
