The role: We’re looking to recruit a Business Information and Data Warehouse Developer to lead adoption of enterprise data capabilities across the business. You’ll play a pivotal role in influencing prioritisation, shaping plans and supporting colleagues to embed new ways of working. You will work closely with our managed service provider to embed data at the heart of everything we do. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll make a visible impact on data quality, risk management and AI/analytics readiness. You’ll be leading the adoption of metadata, data quality, access management and classification, while reviewing data quality results, agreeing remediation priorities and validating improvements. You will shape definitions, thresholds and governance for key data attributes and critical data elements, and provide challenge, oversight and guidance to ensure alignment with company standards. You will join a small existing, established team, delivering projects using ETL tools, building custom data integrations and automation solutions, solving data and reporting challenges across the business. The role would suit someone perhaps moving from a junior role into an intermediate one with an interest in automation, future tech, with a data and design mindset.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience leading adoption of metadata, data quality, lineage, and access controls as data moves through products, platforms, and processes.
- Ability to influence decisions, explain data concepts simply and support behaviour change, along with strong stakeholder management and facilitation capability.
- Confidence coordinating remediation activity and managing risks/issues.
- Familiarity with commonly used data tools and architecture.
- Experience of MS SQL Server / T‑SQL.
- Experience working with ETL and reporting.
- Solid grounding in business information / data warehousing.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or CRM/ERP Systems.
Outline responsibilities:
- Leading, executing and delivering technical implementations.
- Proactively investigate issues, coming up with solutions.
- Delivery and deadline focused.
- Participate in the design stage (analysis, requirements and prototyping).
- Manage technical elements of release, ensuring testing is completed.
What you’ll get for this role:
- Salary: Circa £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on location, skills, experience and qualifications).
- 33 days’ paid leave including bank holidays.
- 4% contributory pension with a company match of up to 8%.
- Company cash plan.
- Free onsite parking.

We will not accept rude behaviour from customers, employees, suppliers, and stakeholders at any time. We will only employ and continue to employ employees and engage with suppliers who display openly the personal characteristics of humility, honesty, enthusiasm, respect, positivity and a ‘can do’ attitude. We will seek opportunities (at least annually) to identify employee training needs (and wants) and wherever possible and practicable, provide time and resources to accommodate these needs (and wants). We shall be very careful in our recruitment and maintenance of ‘customers’ (customers here is defined as ‘any body corporate or otherwise paying regular fees to the company’) to ensure, wherever possible, that these customers share these ‘values’. We shall, at all times and in all decision‑making, try to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients and consumers in every action we take.
