Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Actively recruiting for various locations including Willand (Devon), Scunthorpe (Lincolnshire), Flixton (Norfolk), Thetford (Norfolk) and Nottingham, however if you are looking for work in another UK location please still apply.

Salary: Varied dependent on location & shift patterns but averaging £45,000 – £52,500 for experienced candidates.

About the Role

As a Multiskilled Engineer with an electrical bias, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the production line. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively managing electrical maintenance on PLCs, inverters, control panels, and installation works.
  • Covering for the AM Multiskilled Engineer during annual leave.
  • Ensuring smooth operation of new distribution boards and other electrical systems.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completed Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong background in Electrical Maintenance Engineering.
  • Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings.
  • Minimum 17th Edition Electrical qualification.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Packaging, Logistics, or Supply Chain Engineering environments.
  • City & Guild Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or HNC in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance.
  • Testing inspection qualifications.
  • Electrical 18th Edition qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Mechanical Maintenance experience (desirable).
