Global Head of Product and Solution Strategy (SOW Product Lead)
Role Summary
SOW Product Lead is accountable for the success, growth, and strategic evolution of TAPFIN’s Statement of Work (SOW) and contingent workforce product offerings. This leader drives revenue, solution messaging, and innovation, positioning TAPFIN as the industry leader in SOW Management, Workforce Solutions, and Product Excellence. The role integrates advanced product management, technology, and market insights to deliver scalable, differentiated solutions for clients globally.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Making an Impact:
- Lead the vision, development, and optimization of SOW and contingent workforce solutions, integrating product management best practices.
- Drive innovation through market research, voice-of-customer initiatives, and technology integrations (VMS, ATS, AI tools).
- Build ROI-driven business cases for new service models and process enhancements.
- Champion automation, standardization, and service differentiation across the product portfolio.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to launch new offerings and manage change, training, and enablement.
- Sharing Expertise:
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert in SOW, procurement, and workforce management.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, leveraging deep expertise in external workforce, category management, and supplier performance.
- Provide thought leadership through industry engagement, conference speaking, and publication of insights.
- Mentor and coach teams on best practices, compliance, and technology adoption.
- Gaining Exposure:
- Partner with cross functional teams to drive new business and expansion.
- Develop executive relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews, uncovering and closing SOW/product opportunities.
- Establish trusted advisor status internally and externally, sharing expertise and driving continuous improvement.
- Your Typical Day:
- Review program and product performance metrics (fill rates, cost savings, adoption rates).
- Meet with client and delivery teams to identify enhancement opportunities.
- Collaborate with technology partners on roadmap alignment and integration.
- Present new service concepts (e.g., AI-driven talent curation, DE&I analytics) to stakeholders.
- Align with global teams on localization and compliance for international programs.
- Travel (50%+) for sales pursuits, client reviews, and industry events.
- Demonstrates strong leadership by setting clear expectations, coaching and developing team members, and fostering a culture of trust, inclusion, and high performance. Actively supports team growth through regular feedback, recognition, and development opportunities. Empowers individuals, encourages collaboration, and ensures accountability for results. Leads the team through change with empathy and clarity, and builds a robust talent pipeline for future success.

Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
- 7+ years of procurement experience managing corporate RFP/SOW management functions. Or, 7+ years of service delivery expertise in support of client SOW management solutions on a large scale.
- Experience leading delivery teams within consulting, sales, SOW management, MSP, recruiting, services or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Nice to Haves
- Experience working in a Fortune 500 or similar large, global matrixed organization.
- Experience and seniority level engagement expertise with senior executives and C‑Suite in Enterprise organizations.
