Team Leader - Work Management

Job Title: Maintenance Team Leader Location : Hours: Monday-Friday, 7-3:30pm (2:30 finish on Fridays) This business are an international leader in the aerospace, defence and energy markets, employing more than 9,000 people at over 40 manufacturing facilities and regional offices worldwide. Through focusing on engineering and operational excellence, this business builds broad installed bases of equipment and provides services and support across a fleet of approximately 73,000 aircraft. Leading the maintenance team across the shift pattern to achieve desired uptime and quality requirements. Plan and schedule Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) works and drive the annual Planned Maintenance (PM) plan. Promote continuous improvement in overall plant operations by reducing downtime wherever possible. Train, advise and mentor maintenance team members as appropriate, where relevant training/standards in own performance have been achieved. Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – Mechanical preferred. Demonstrable leadership behaviours and qualities; Previous experience of maintenance of a wide range of machinery. Ability to think critically, utilising data in complex decision-making scenarios.
