This is a hands-on role for an experienced Event Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning events end-to-end.
You'll play a key part in delivering a varied portfolio of trade shows, industry exhibitions, technical training and customer events across the UK and internationally. This role will include some international travel (around 30%), mainly across Europe with some travel to the US and Middle East.
The opportunity
Working closely with an Event Manager, you'll take full ownership of event delivery from concept through to execution and reporting. You'll be trusted to manage multiple workstreams, make decisions under pressure and deliver high-quality experiences for attendees and senior stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Lead the planning and execution of corporate events and trade shows in the UK and overseas
- Manage all event logistics including venues, travel, accommodation, transport and F&B
- Own attendee management, registration, communications and on-site experience
- Control budgets, timelines and supplier relationships end-to-end
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver integrated event strategies
- Oversee event content, branding and materials with marketing and creative teams
- Lead on-site delivery, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience
- Manage event tech platforms (e.g. Cvent), reporting and data
- Proactively identify risks and resolve issues quickly in live environments
What you'll bring
- Extensive experience delivering B2B corporate events, conferences or trade shows
- Proven ownership of events across the full lifecycle
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience managing suppliers, agencies and budgets
- Confidence operating independently and under pressure
- Experience with event platforms (Cvent highly desirable)
