Are you an experienced engineering leader looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Reliability Engineering Manager to lead strategic reliability projects at our busy biscuit manufacturing site. This is a data-driven, hands-on leadership role focused on long-term plant reliability, maintenance planning, and driving continuous improvement across the engineering function.
What You'll Do
- Lead and deliver small, strategic projects to improve plant reliability
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies across the site
- Manage a team including Day Technicians and a Maintenance Planner
- Drive the use of data analysis to inform decisions and improve performance
- Embed and champion CI tools and methodologies (TPM, Kaizen, 5S; Six Sigma desirable)
- Develop team capability and succession plans
- Foster a culture of reliability, improvement, and operational excellence
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' leadership experience in engineering.
- Proven track record in maintenance planning and reliability projects
- Strong knowledge of CI / Lean manufacturing principles
- Comfortable using data and analytics to drive decisions
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical or Electrical) OR HNC/HND or higher
- IOSH awareness desirable (training provided where needed)
