Junior Property Lawyer - 12 Month FTC Location
Birmingham - Hybrid Working hours
08:30-17:00 About the role: We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Junior Property Lawyer (Newly Qualified Solicitor to 1 year PQE) to join our in-house legal team.
Working closely with the Senior Legal Counsel, you will support the management of a diverse property portfolio spanning retail, investment and development.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad in-house experience across a wide range of commercial property matters, including portfolio management, landlord and tenant issues, acquisitions, disposals and development projects.
Key Responsibilities Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, licences and related property documentation.
Advising on landlord and tenant matters across the portfolio.
Advising on retail leases for well-known restaurant brands.
Assisting with acquisitions, disposals and property investment transactions.
Supporting development projects, including option agreements, easements, wayleaves and solar leases.
Undertaking property due diligence and managing post-completion matters, including Land Registry applications and SDLT filings.
Liaising with external advisers and supporting legal risk management across the portfolio.
About You Newly Qualified Solicitor or up to 1 year PQE.
Experience or a strong interest in commercial property law.
Commercially aware, organised and detail-oriented.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
