An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Press Setter to join a global engineering and manufacturing organisation at its Ansty Park facility. Working within a highly skilled production team, you will play a key role in operating and setting the KINTEX fin-forming machine, ensuring production requirements are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards. Alongside responsibility for KINTEX operations, the role includes training in braze block activities, enabling flexibility across the production team and providing the opportunity to broaden technical skills. What you will be doing
- Setting and operating the KINTEX fin-forming machine to meet production requirements
- Processing metal coil through the machine and ensuring production runs efficiently
- Carrying out machine adjustments and changeovers as required
- Using measuring and inspection equipment, including gauges and verniers, to verify product specifications
- Identifying and resolving basic machine and production issues to minimise downtime
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping within the production area
- Training in braze block operations and providing cover for other team members when required
- Supporting a flexible team environment by working across multiple processes as business needs dictate
What we are looking for
- Previous machine-setting experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proven press setting experience
- Experience using measuring equipment, including gauges and verniers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A flexible approach and willingness to learn additional processes
Desirable
- Experience operating fin-forming, press or similar production machinery
- Exposure to coil-fed manufacturing processes
- Experience working within an engineering or aerospace manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of braze block operations
