Are you a current or aspiring Driver who possesses a C Driver's License with a willingness to work as an operative in an exciting autonomous environment? The purpose of this role is to drive and operate a tanker and/or Curtain Sider operating across Ireland. You will be responsible for its delivery on the road and on site, keeping to safety standards and company requirements for proper process.
Primarily centred around Waste Management, this business is expanding rapidly in the fields of Resource Recovery and Circular Economy, ensuring nothing truly goes to waste. They are leading key UK & Ireland sustainability projects as they look to recycle more materials ranging from Metals, Plastics and Oil through to Hazardous Waste and identifying ways to utilise these to create clean energy and fully recycled products.
Role Responsibilities:
- Driving a tanker and/or curtain sider to client sites to collect and dispose of liquid waste. Keep to proper process for safety.
- Onsite delivery of chemical waste with PPE and paperwork.
- Keep to chemical waste safety and HGV equipment processes to company standards to ensure safety requirements are kept.
- Collections are in the automotive sector: servicing car and truck garages, collecting waste oil, transformer oil, bilge and liquid waste from ships.
What We Are Looking For?
- Previous experience in a large vehicle driving role or similar level.
- Minimum HGV C License.
- CPC, ADR and Digital Tachograph are advantageous - Can be provided.
