Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a varied role where no two days are the same? We are a leading biscuit manufacturer with a busy 24/7 operation, employing approximately 700 colleagues. We're looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join our HR team and support managers across the business with a wide range of employee relations and HR activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, generalist HR role and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
- Provide practical HR support and guidance to managers and employees across the site.
- Manage employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability matters.
- Support managers through investigations, hearings and formal processes.
- Monitor and analyse absence trends and support effective absence management.
- Assist with long-term sickness cases alongside Occupational Health and management teams.
- Provide advice on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and maintain a visible presence across the site.
