We're looking for an experienced Global Proposals Manager to lead and transform a newly centralised proposals function within a leading Oil & Gas organisation. Reporting to the Global Sales Lead, you'll own the end-to-end bid process for a strategically important Measurement & Process Solutions portfolio - driving consistency, efficiency, and best-in-class proposal delivery across global markets. This is a high-impact, predominantly remote role with occasional travel (~quarterly), ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of commercial strategy, technical solutions, and operational excellence.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the global proposals lifecycle from RFQ through to submission and handover
- Lead and develop a high-performing international team
- Partner with sales, engineering, and operations to prioritise and win opportunities
- Ensure proposals are technically robust, commercially competitive, and differentiated
- Drive process improvements, eliminating bottlenecks and scaling best practice
- Oversee costing, estimation, and risk for bids (Β£50k-Β£30m)
- Implement KPIs, reporting, and governance frameworks
- Standardise tools, templates, and ways of working globally
- Provide insight and recommendations to senior leadership
What we're looking for:

Essential:
- Strong background in proposal management within oil & gas
- Experience leading global or multi-regional teams
- Proven track record delivering complex bids (Β£50k-Β£30m)
- Exposure to measurement, custody transfer, instrumentation, or process solutions
- Experience working across international markets
- Demonstrated success in process optimisation and transformation
Desirable:
- Engineering or technical degree
- Experience building KPIs, reporting frameworks, or proposal tools
