About the role
Are you a detail-oriented student with an interest in quality, manufacturing documentation, and compliance, looking to gain hands-on experience? We're looking for a Quality Specialist Intern to join this well-known Oil Exploration & Energy Services company, where you'll play a key role in creating and managing Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs) for live projects. This is a critical quality support role, offering exposure to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications, while working closely with engineering, procurement, production, and quality teams. The role provides an excellent foundation for a future career in quality, engineering support, or project delivery within the subsea sector.
What you'll be doing
- Creating, reviewing, and compiling Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs) for project delivery
- Reviewing and uploading quality documentation into the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system
- Electronically scanning and archiving manufacturing and quality records
- Supporting the site record archival and retrieval process as required
- Performing accurate data entry into internal systems
- Reviewing material certifications, traceability documents, test records, and inspection reports
- Liaising with engineering, procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to validate documentation
- Supporting project delivery schedules through timely and accurate documentation management

Essential:
- Obtained or currently studying towards a relevant BSc degree (e.g. Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work safely and follow defined processes
Desirable:
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Exposure to SAP or other enterprise systems
- Analytical skills when processing manufacturing and quality information
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
