Are you an experienced Electronics Technician who thrives on fault-finding, precision repair, and working on safety-critical systems? We're looking for a skilled Electronics Technician to join a high-performing aerospace team, supporting the repair and overhaul of advanced electronic components used in aircraft braking systems.

The Role

This is a hands-on, technical position where you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and certifying electronic assemblies and units to the highest aerospace standards. You'll play a key role in ensuring components are safe, compliant, and ready to return to service - work that directly impacts aircraft performance and passenger safety.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Fault-finding and repairing electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Disassembling, inspecting, and rebuilding complex units
  • Replacing and repairing electronic components
  • Testing products using a range of specialist equipment
  • Working from engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals
  • Ensuring all work meets strict quality and regulatory standards
  • Maintaining full traceability and accurate documentation
  • Supporting continuous improvement in a lean manufacturing environment

What We're Looking For

You'll likely already be working in a similar environment, such as aerospace, defence, rail, or high-reliability electronics manufacturing.

Essential:

  • HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Proven experience in electronics repair within a manufacturing or MRO environment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings
  • Experience using electronic test and inspection equipment
