We're looking for a skilled Electronics Technician to join a high-performing aerospace team, supporting the repair and overhaul of advanced electronic components used in aircraft braking systems.
The Role
This is a hands-on, technical position where you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and certifying electronic assemblies and units to the highest aerospace standards. You'll play a key role in ensuring components are safe, compliant, and ready to return to service - work that directly impacts aircraft performance and passenger safety.
What You'll Be Doing
- Fault-finding and repairing electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Disassembling, inspecting, and rebuilding complex units
- Replacing and repairing electronic components
- Testing products using a range of specialist equipment
- Working from engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Ensuring all work meets strict quality and regulatory standards
- Maintaining full traceability and accurate documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement in a lean manufacturing environment
What We're Looking For
You'll likely already be working in a similar environment, such as aerospace, defence, rail, or high-reliability electronics manufacturing.
Essential:
- HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Proven experience in electronics repair within a manufacturing or MRO environment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings
- Experience using electronic test and inspection equipment
