We are on the hunt for a Sprayer for Protective Coatings to join our manufacturing team, applying antioxidant and protective coatings to engineered aerospace components. This role is suited to candidates with industrial or protective spraying experience who are comfortable working to defined processes, specifications, and safety standards.
The Role
Your focus will be on applying functional coatings that protect components and ensure long-term performance. Quality, consistency, and process control are critical. You will work as part of a team to ensure parts are processed efficiently, safely, and in line with production requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Applying protective anti-oxidant coatings using spray and brush methods
- Working to established paint specifications and work instructions
- Operating curing systems, including air curing and curing ovens
- Preparing, marking, and identifying components correctly
- Carrying out visual inspections to confirm coating integrity
- Performing basic first-line maintenance and maintaining clean equipment
- Working within extraction-controlled areas using appropriate PPE
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in protective, industrial, or manufacturing spraying
- Comfortable working to strict procedures and specifications
- Experience using spray equipment in a controlled environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good housekeeping and safety awareness
