What you'll be doing

  • You'll be responsible for ensuring aerospace components meet strict quality and engineering standards before release.
  • Carry out final / end-of-line inspection of aerospace components and assemblies.
  • Inspect precision parts such as heat exchangers and air/oil coolers.
  • Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Use inspection equipment including micrometers, plug gauges, height gauges, and verniers.
  • Record inspection results and manage data using SAP.
  • Identify and raise non-conformance issues (NCRs).
  • Support product release and quality assurance processes.
  • Progress into DQR customer sign-off responsibilities (approx. 6 months training period).

  • Aerospace manufacturing or inspection experience.
  • Experience in final inspection / end-of-line quality inspection.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Competent with basic measuring tools (micrometers, gauges, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of quality processes and documentation.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
