About Us
We are a fast paced, market leading food manufacturer based in Northwich. We are looking for multi‑skilled maintenance engineers or technicians to support primarily with planned maintenance but also including some reactive maintenance responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a team of highly skilled engineers utilising state‑of‑the‑art machinery and join a business that is well known for its career progress and technical development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Fixing rollers, small gearboxes, and small motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, inverter
- Carry out fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of plant machinery and site service equipment.
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and structured problem‑solving techniques to reduce recurring failures.
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience and qualification within mechanical or electrical maintenance and will ideally have worked in the food production industry.
Key Skills/Qualifications
- Strong mechanical or electrical skills
- Experience in food production is ideal but not essential
- Hands‑on experience with NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Experience in a planned and reactive maintenance
