Essential Job Functions
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return.
- Embrace the customer first strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
- Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
- Prepare and fulfill online orders that exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, and freshness.
- Scan and bag products to fulfill customers’ online orders while paying particular attention to specific customer instructions.
- Ensure quality and freshness of all items while meeting and exceeding timeliness and efficiency standards.
- Physical demands include, but are not limited to, standing for extended periods of time and walking extensively, as well as stooping, kneeling or crouching several times an hour.
- Notify customers of any product substitutions at time of pick up.
- Process orders through the point of sale system and load bags into customers’ cars.
- Maintain the intake of customer orders to ensure customers are helped quickly and efficiently.
- Assist in training new e-Commerce team members and develop schedules to meet operational needs.
- Provide input on best practices to meet operational needs and develop schedules.
- Troubleshoot and maintain e-Commerce equipment and ensure staging areas are organized and clean.
- Perform required opening and closing procedures.
