Contract Type: Permanent, full-time - start date 2nd March
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 - 16:30, 40 hours annualised (45 hours per week in season, 35 hours in winter period)
About the role
Due to the successful award of a new school contract, we are looking to recruit two experienced Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team. You will keep the grounds of several local schools in a wonderful condition. You may also be expected to use a ride on mower, pedestrian mower, and do strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking, sweeping and any other related horticultural duties. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.
Requirements
- Previous Grounds Maintenance experience is required.
- A full valid UK manual driving licence is essential.
- PA1 and PA6 licenses are preferred.
- Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Experience working on school or similar sites is desirable.
