The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support two prestigious static commercial sites located in Maidenhead and Milton Keynes. This role will be split equally between both locations, with 2.5 days per week spent at each site, making it ideal for an engineer who lives between the two areas. We're looking for an electrically qualified engineer with a strong maintenance background who is also comfortable carrying out mechanical maintenance, including HVAC systems and plant room equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across both sites
  • Perform electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on lighting, power, and building services systems
  • Maintain and fault-find on HVAC systems and associated mechanical plant
  • Carry out routine plant room inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently
  • Complete maintenance records accurately using CAFM systems
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and the wider engineering team
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with health & safety regulations
  • Identify and report opportunities for plant improvements and remedial works

About You

  • Electrically qualified (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
  • Strong background in commercial building maintenance
  • Experience working on HVAC systems, plant rooms, and mechanical building services
  • Confident carrying out both electrical maintenance and basic mechanical tasks
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ideally based between Maidenhead and Milton Keynes to support both locations
