M&E Engineer
Location: Oxford
Salary: £44,000
Benefits: Company Van + Fuel Card
Hours: Monday to Friday
The Role
We are looking for an experienced M&E Engineer to join a well-established engineering team covering commercial sites in and around Oxford.
This is a mobile position offering a £44,000 salary, company van and fuel card, with a Monday-to-Friday working pattern. You'll be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical and electrical building services.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Fault-find and repair mechanical and electrical building services
- Maintain HVAC equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps and associated plant
- Carry out electrical maintenance including lighting, power and basic fault finding
- Complete routine plant room inspections
- Respond to breakdowns and ensure faults are resolved efficiently
- Complete maintenance records and update CAFM systems
- Liaise professionally with clients and contractors
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
About You
- Qualified in either an electrical or mechanical discipline (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
- Strong M&E/building services maintenance background
- Experience working within commercial properties
- Good knowledge of xgikmsk HVAC, mechanical plant and electrical systems
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Professional and client-facing approach
- Full UK driving licence
