Electrical Shift Engineer – £50,000 Location: Monument, City of London Salary: £50,000 Shift: Continental Days & Nights Position: Permanent, Static Site Environment: Prestigious Banking / Financial Services The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join an established engineering team at a prestigious banking environment near Monument. Working a continental days and nights shift pattern, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the building’s electrical and critical infrastructure, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and responding to faults across the site. Key Responsibilities * Carry out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance * Fault-find on electrical plant and building services * Maintain lighting, power, emergency lighting and distribution systems * Monitor critical plant and infrastructure * Respond to BMS alarms, breakdowns and technical issues * Carry out routine plant room inspections * Support mechanical and HVAC maintenance where required * Oversee specialist contractors * Complete maintenance records and CAFM tasks * Ensure all works are completed safely and compliantly What We’re Looking For * City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent * 18th Edition * Strong commercial building maintenance experience * Good electrical fault-finding skills * Experience within banking, critical environments or high-profile commercial buildings would be advantageous * Good understanding of M&E building services * Previous shift experience preferred * Professional and confident in a client-facing environment What’s on Offer? * £50,000 salary * Continental days & nights * Static site near Monument * Prestigious banking environment * Established engineering team * Ongoing technical training and development * Long-term career progression If you’re an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer looking for a £50k position in the City of London, we’d be keen to hear from you
