We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Mechanical HVAC Engineer to join a well–established and growing facilities management provider. This is a mobile role covering London and the South East, offering a competitive salary and a great Monday to Friday work–life balance.

The Role

As a Mobile Mechanical HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites. The role focuses on mechanical and HVAC systems, ensuring all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and HVAC systems
  • Respond to reactive maintenance and breakdowns across multiple sites
  • Service and maintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and associated plant
  • Fault find and repair mechanical and HVAC equipment
  • Support minor installations and small works where required
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
  • Complete job reports and maintain accurate service records
  • Provide a professional, client–facing service on site

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical or HVAC Engineer within commercial maintenance
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
  • Strong fault–finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working in a mobile role desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach
